What is trex.test.integration?

A command that runs integration tests against a real PostgreSQL database, the database used by the application.

Use it to run all integration tests or select a subset, especially tests that make authenticated API calls and verify stored data.

It tests the application and database together instead of checking code in isolation, while automatically creating and resetting the test database.

How Integration Tests Work

Database: Testcontainers automatically starts a PostgreSQL instance (no manual setup needed)
Each test calls test.RegisterIntegration(t) which returns a (*Helper, *openapi.APIClient)
The database is reset between tests via helper.DBFactory.ResetDB()
Tests use gomega matchers (Expect(...).To(...))

Follow the pattern in existing test files. Every test function should:

Call h, client := test.RegisterIntegration(t)
Create an account: account := h.NewRandAccount()
Get an authenticated context: ctx := h.NewAuthenticatedContext(account)
Use client.DefaultAPI.Api... methods for API calls
