- A headline that leads with the result ("How [customer] cut onboarding time 60%").
- The customer and their context: who they are, so the reader can see themselves in it.
- The challenge: the problem they faced and what it was costing them, concretely. The reader should recognize their own situation here.
- The solution: what they did, how the product/approach fit, and how it rolled out. Focus on the customer's journey, not a feature dump.
- The results: the outcomes, with numbers wherever possible (time saved, revenue, efficiency, before-and-after). This is the payoff and the proof.
- A customer quote that feels real, and a short takeaway.
Rules: make the CUSTOMER the hero, not the product (the product is the tool they used to win). Concrete and credible: specific numbers and real details beat vague praise, and are what make a case study persuasive. Honest: no inflated results. Mark any metric or quote you do not have as a placeholder to fill with real data. Match the length to the depth of the story.
