A release command that prepares the current main commit for a production deployment. It updates CI and the documentation changelog, creates an annotated Git tag, advances the production branch, and creates a GitHub Release.

Use it with a version such as v0.0.1, or without one to automatically increase the patch version.

It keeps the code, release notes, version tag, production branch, and GitHub release aligned.
