Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5 | $0.00008 | $0.00404 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00004 | $0.00202 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00002 | $0.00081 |

Grade B, and why
add-statusline scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

.claude/, .codex/, .gemini/ hold keys, settings and other credentials a mod has no legitimate need for.

Add StatusLine Configuration
Adds the statusline configuration to a Claude settings file.
Step 1: Ask Scope
Use AskUserQuestion to ask which settings file:
- user:
~/.claude/settings.json - project:
./.claude/settings.json - local:
./.claude/settings.local.json
Step 2: Execute via Agent
Spawn a general-purpose subagent with the Agent tool:
Agent(
subagent_type: "general-purpose",
description: "Add statusline to settings",
prompt: "Add statusline configuration to [FILE_PATH].
Use the Read tool to check if file exists. Then:
IF FILE EXISTS:
1. Parse existing JSON
2. Add/merge statusLine key
3. Use Edit tool to update
IF FILE DOES NOT EXIST:
1. Create parent directory if needed: mkdir -p [PARENT_DIR]
2. Use Write tool to create file with this content:
{
\"statusLine\": {
\"type\": \"command\",
\"command\": \"uv run --no-project --script ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/statusline.py\",
\"padding\": 0
}
}
3. Report CREATED
statusLine value to add:
{
\"type\": \"command\",
\"command\": \"uv run --no-project --script ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/statusline.py\",
\"padding\": 0
}
Respond SUCCESS (updated) or CREATED (new file)."
)
Step 3: Handle Response
- CREATED: Inform user the settings file was created and statusline was added.
- INVALID_JSON: Show error details. Exit.
- SUCCESS: Confirm the statusline configuration was successfully added.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

add-statusline is a command published in the GitHub repository barkain/claude-code-workflow-orchestration (84 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 8 tokens to every session and 404 once invoked, about $0.0000 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it B with 1 finding (reads agent configuration directories). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
