A generator command for creating a new CRUD module—a part of an application that lets users create, view, edit, and delete records. It first shows a proposed file plan and then creates the module structure.

Use it when adding a new record-based area to the application, then replace the placeholder schema and run the listed checks.

It avoids manually creating files and registry entries that are easy to miss. The generated module keeps its pieces based on one central data schema.

Scaffold a domain module named $ARGUMENTS.

Preview first: vpr gen:module $ARGUMENTS --dry-run
If the plan looks right, run it without --dry-run.
Read docs/9.recipes/1.add-a-module.md for what the generator deliberately leaves to you.
Replace the placeholder schema in src/modules/<name>/types.ts with the real domain shape — everything else in the module derives from it.
Verify: vp check && vpr test --run

Do not hand-write the module files, the setup.ts entry or the permission declarations in src/modules/app/config/rbac.overrides.ts; the generator handles those and forgetting them fails silently. Granting the permissions to roles is yours to do, in the same file.
