claude-sdk-rs: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/blocked.md

blocked is a command for Claude Code from bredmond1019/claude-sdk-rs. It costs 0 tokens per session (535 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A command for recording that a planned work item cannot proceed because it depends on another task or a manual outside step. It updates the work item's dependency list.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when a task needs another block, an account, a move, or another external action before it can start. It can also help capture the blocking work as a separate task.
Why use it?
It makes the reason for a stalled task visible in the planning data instead of leaving the blockage implicit. This helps later work identify what must happen first.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00535
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00214
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00107
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00053

Measured 11d ago against content hash 4ccdc2a885ac, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

blocked scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Blocked — Capture a new blocker on the fly

Variables

$ARGUMENTS — what is blocked, by what, where, and why.

Purpose

When getting ready to start work and you discover that a block or track is blocked by something new (e.g. an external manual step, a new chore, or a cross-repo dependency), use this command to update the dependency graph on the fly. This updates the depends_on array for the blocked item in planning/state.json and optionally helps capture the new work (e.g. via /chore or /ticket).

Instructions

  1. Understand the blockage: Analyze $ARGUMENTS to determine:

    • Target: Which block ID is being blocked (e.g., MV.6.A, BL.1.D).
    • Blocker type: Is the blocker an external step (e.g., creating a Cal.com account, moving a repo directory) or a block dependency (another ticket/chore in this or another repo)?
  2. Find the target state.json: Locate the planning/state.json file in the repository that owns the target block.

  3. Update state.json: Open the planning/state.json, locate the target block in tracks[].blocks[], and append a new dependency object to its depends_on array:

    • For an external or manual step: { "type": "external", "what": "<concise description of the external blocker>" }
    • For a block dependency: { "type": "block", "repo": "<repo-slug>", "id": "<block-id>" }

    Note: Ensure valid JSON.

  4. Regenerate State: Run mev emit-state --write from the brain root (or let it walk up to find brain.toml). This updates derived fields like focus.blocked and brain rollups so the system knows the block is now blocked.

  5. Follow-up (Optional): If the blocker is a significant new piece of code work that isn't tracked yet, suggest using /chore or /ticket to spec it out, so it can be tracked as a formal block dependency.

  6. Report: Output a concise summary of what was updated, e.g.:

Updated BL.1.D in bastiel/planning/state.json to be blocked by:
    - [External] Create a Cal.com account and links.

    State regenerated successfully.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
