claude-sdk-rs: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/e2e-templates-README.md

e2e-templates-README is a command for Claude Code from bredmond1019/claude-sdk-rs. It costs 0 tokens per session (561 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A set of structured Markdown templates for end-to-end tests, which check a complete feature through its external interface rather than testing one small function. They describe scenarios for an agent or developer to write or run, but they do not run automatically.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use them to create tests for feature flows, replace placeholders such as URLs and credentials, and verify the tests with your project's test runner.
Why use it?
They provide a repeatable starting point for testing features such as an API, while requiring you to fill in project-specific values. Their negative-case checks help confirm that a test really fails when the expected problem is introduced.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00561
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00224
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00112
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00056

Security

Grade A, and why

e2e-templates-README scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 48 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

E2E Test Templates

These are templates, not auto-run tests. Each file describes a test scenario in structured markdown that an agent can follow to write or execute E2E tests for a feature.

How to use

  1. Copy the relevant template to tests/e2e/test_<feature>.md (or adapt to .py / .spec.ts) in your project.
  2. Replace every {{PLACEHOLDER}} with your project's actual values (endpoint URLs, field names, auth tokens, etc.).
  3. Run the test via your project's test runner, or invoke it as a Claude Code command if you want the agent to drive it.
  4. Before trusting the test as a gate, break the thing it asserts and watch the test fail. Each template has a "Negative Case" section — introduce the concrete failure it names (a bad credential, a missing field, a wrong status), re-run, and confirm the assertion goes red. Then restore the fix and re-run to confirm it goes green again. A test that has never been observed failing may be asserting something that was already true, which is exactly how a green CI check becomes decorative — a test never observed failing is not evidence.

Available templates

File Covers
test_crud_api.md Create / read / update / delete against a REST endpoint
test_ui_form.md Form submit flow in the browser (Playwright)
test_error_handling.md Error surfaces — validation, 500, network timeout
test_auth_gate.md Protected route / endpoint rejects unauthenticated requests

Integrating with the SDLC pipeline

If you want E2E tests to run as part of a roadmap orchestration run's back-half, add your E2E command to validation.checks[] in planning/harness.json. The consolidated review stage will run it over the integrated tree.

Placeholders

All templates use {{PLACEHOLDER}} tokens. Common ones:

Token Replace with
{{BASE_URL}} Your API or app base URL (e.g. http://localhost:8000)
{{RESOURCE}} The resource name (e.g. users, posts)
{{AUTH_TOKEN}} A valid bearer token for authenticated requests
{{FIELD_NAME}} A required field that triggers validation
{{LOGIN_URL}} The login/auth endpoint or page URL
{{PROTECTED_URL}} A URL that requires authentication

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
