What is rename-project?

A command that explains that custom project names are no longer supported. Project IDs are generated automatically from the project path.

Use it when someone asks to rename a carbon-tracking project or needs to find its automatically generated ID.

It prevents users from trying to change an identifier that the system now controls. It also shows how to check the current project ID.

Instructions

Let the user know that project IDs are now automatically generated as a hash of the project path. There is no need to set or rename project names. Show them their current project ID by running:
