A release command for a Python package. It increases the patch version, builds installable package files, and uploads them to PyPI, the public package registry for Python.

Use it when publishing a new package release. It creates a wheel and source archive, uploads them to PyPI, and reports the installation command.

It groups the versioning, building, publishing, and verification steps in one process. This reduces manual release work and checks that the new version is available.

1. Read current version

2. Bump patch version

Increment the patch number: 0.1.X → 0.1.X+1

Edit pyproject.toml to update the version.

3. Build

Verify both .whl and .tar.gz are produced.

4. Upload to PyPI
