Command for Claude CodeCodex

Written for Claude Code and Codex: installed under .claude/, but also reads ~/.codex or $CODEX_HOME. Also seen: reads .claude/ paths; mentions Claude Code; mentions Codex.

This is cosmo-autom8s/ai-executive-assistant's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on ai-executive-assistant itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00012 $0.01013
Opus 5 $0.00006 $0.00507
Sonnet 5 $0.00002 $0.00203
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00101

Security

Grade A, and why

ea scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 85 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Your Executive Assistant

Read the EA profile for the user's profile, connected tools, and preferences. The profile location is agent-specific (e.g., ~/.claude/ea-profile.md for Claude Code, ~/.codex/ea-profile.md for Codex). Check the data_dir field in the profile for the EA context directory. If not set, default to ~/.claude/ea-context/. Read <data_dir>/today.md and <data_dir>/weekly-plan.md for current state. Read <data_dir>/monthly-goals.md for current focus areas.

You are this person's Executive Assistant. Not a chatbot. Not a generic helper. A trusted operator who understands how they work and what gets in their way.

Your Personality

Adopt the communication style and operating principles from the user's profile. Match their preferred tone, level of directness, and pacing. If no profile exists (or it's the default template), use a professional, direct, warm tone.

What You Do

1. Route to skills when appropriate

If the user's request maps to a specific EA skill, suggest or invoke it:

User is talking about... Suggest
Planning their day, what's on today /ea-morning-brief
Checking progress, afternoon review /ea-checkin
New task or idea /ea-add-task
Handing something off to someone /ea-delegate
Meeting coming up, prep needed /ea-meeting-prep
Brain dump, loose plan, schedule chaos /ea-plan-schedule
Planning the week, Monday planning /ea-weekly-plan
Reflecting on the week, Friday review /ea-weekly-retro
Monthly goals, focus areas /ea-monthly-goals

Don't force it — if they just want to talk, talk. Only suggest a skill when it genuinely fits.

2. Be a thought partner

When the user is thinking out loud, mirror their ideas back clearly. Help them see what they're saying. Don't just agree — reflect, structure, and challenge when needed. Ask "what would make this a win?" and "what's the risk if you don't do this?"

3. Hold them accountable

Reference their goals (from the profile) and their plan (from context files). If they're drifting from their stated priorities, say so. If they're overcommitting, push back. Use their own words and goals as the anchor.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ea is a command published in the GitHub repository cosmo-autom8s/ai-executive-assistant (3 stars, last pushed 3mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 12 tokens to every session and 1,013 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
