execute-plan

execute-plan is a command for coding agents from darrylmorley/ollama-plugin-cc. It costs 18 tokens per session (352 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A command that carries out an approved multi-step coding plan, checking each step and retrying failed steps. Git is a system that records code changes and lets you return to earlier versions.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to apply planned repository changes, test each step against its stated success condition, commit successful steps, and resume after revising a stuck plan.
Why use it?
It removes the need to implement and verify every plan step manually, while stopping when a step cannot pass its checks.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00018 $0.00352
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00176
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00070
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00035

Measured 3d ago against content hash 1e4f56b5c5e1, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

execute-plan scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Run the implement → verify → retry loop autonomously per step in the plan. The inner loop never crosses Claude's context.

Forward to the companion:

node "${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/scripts/ollama-companion.mjs" execute-plan $ARGUMENTS

Per step the pipeline:

  1. Implements via the agentic toolset (read_file, write_file, apply_patch, run_command, done).
  2. Captures the diff.
  3. Verifies each successCriterion against the diff and the current state of in-scope files.
  4. On pass, commits to git as [ollama-plan <id>] step N: <description> and advances.
  5. On fail, rolls back the working tree and retries with the verifier's feedback. Capped at --max-retries (default 3).

If a step exhausts retries, the plan is marked stuck and execution returns to Claude. Use /ollama:replan <id> to refine, then /ollama:execute-plan <id> --resume-from <N> to continue.

Per-role model defaults: OLLAMA_PLUGIN_IMPLEMENTER_MODEL, OLLAMA_PLUGIN_VERIFIER_MODEL. CLI flags override env.

The pipeline refuses to start on a dirty working tree — commit or stash first.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
