Big-AGI is an open-source workspace for using multiple AI models through chat and other AI functions. It is intended for engineers, founders, researchers, and other users who want to work with AI personas, model comparisons, image generation, voice, documents, and code-related features. The catalogue entries provide commands, instructions, and a skill for working with Big-AGI.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|

| Opus 5 | $0.00005 | $0.00303 |

Grade A, and why
update-models-groq scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Not a fault in itself. Listed so you know the mod talks to something, and to what.
**Live endpoint (extra signal):** If `.env.api-keys` has `GROQ_API_KEY`, scan the served model list as ground-truth for what's new/available and cross-check the docs above: `curl https://api.groq.com/openai/v1/models -H What it actually says
Update src/modules/llms/server/openai/models/groq.models.ts with latest model definitions.
Reference src/modules/llms/server/llm.server.types.ts and src/modules/llms/server/models.mappings.ts for context only. Focus on the model file, do not descend into other code.
Primary Source:
- Fetch https://console.groq.com/docs/models.md directly (markdown format, no search needed)
- Pricing: the per-model card
### PRICINGblock is the source of truth (input / cached input / output, one$X.XXper line). https://groq.com/pricing/ is JS-rendered and carries no table, and /docs/pricing.md 404s - do not rely on either - Deprecations (exact shutdown dates + replacement model, authoritative for removals): https://console.groq.com/docs/deprecations.md - check it every pass, models stay in the API and in models.md as "Production" until the shutdown date
- Per-model card (capabilities, image/file limits, max output, best practices): https://console.groq.com/docs/model/.md - the compound systems have no card (404), they are documented at https://console.groq.com/docs/compound.md and /docs/compound/built-in-tools.md
- Capability matrices: https://console.groq.com/docs/reasoning.md (also documents the per-family
reasoning_effortenums), https://console.groq.com/docs/vision.md (its image cap goes stale - the card'sMAX INPUT IMAGESwins, confirm with an over-cap request), https://console.groq.com/docs/prompt-caching.md (which models get the 50% cached-input discount) - Changelog https://console.groq.com/docs/changelog.md lags model launches by months - do not rely on it for "what's new"
Do NOT use web search. The .md endpoint provides structured markdown content directly.
Live endpoint (extra signal): If .env.api-keys has GROQ_API_KEY, scan the served model list as ground-truth for what's new/available and cross-check the docs above: curl https://api.groq.com/openai/v1/models -H "Authorization: Bearer $GROQ_API_KEY". Never commit or echo the key. Probe with curl, not python urllib - Cloudflare 403s (error 1010) non-browser-ish clients. Enterprise-only models (e.g. MiniMax) are in the docs but 404 on standard keys.
Important:
- Review the full model list for additions, removals, and price changes
- Minimize whitespace/comment changes, focus on content
- Preserve comments to make diffs easy to review
- Flag broken links or unexpected content
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

update-models-groq is a command published in the GitHub repository enricoros/big-AGI (7,113 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 10 tokens to every session and 607 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
