claude-linkedin-assistant: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/jobs/indeed-setup.md

indeed-setup is a command for Claude Code from FarzamHejaziK/claude-linkedin-assistant. It costs 0 tokens per session (1,831 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command for enabling job discovery on Indeed, a job-listing website, and optionally improving the user's Indeed profile. It checks whether Indeed is signed in and reads the user's resume materials.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it after initial job-search setup, whenever you want to enable or retry Indeed, or after updating a resume and wanting to optimize the profile again.
Why use it?
It removes the need to configure Indeed discovery and profile optimization separately. It also reports when sign-in or a site block prevents the setup from continuing.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.01831
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00915
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00366
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00183

Measured 10d ago against content hash 1d371f08c65c, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

indeed-setup scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

INDEED-SETUP (enable Indeed / optimize profile)

/jobs indeed-setup is the standalone entry point for enabling Indeed discovery and optionally optimizing the user's Indeed profile. It can be run:

  • After /jobs setup if the user chose "later" for profile optimization.
  • Any time the user wants to enable or retry Indeed.
  • To re-optimize the profile after updating a resume.

Step 0 — Verify Indeed login

Navigate Chrome to https://www.indeed.com/. Read the page.

  • Signed in (user's name/avatar visible, account menu present) → continue.
  • Not signed in → "Not signed into Indeed. Please sign in at indeed.com in this browser, then tell me 'done'." Wait. Re-check.
  • CAPTCHA / blocked → update resumes/search_profile.md by preserving the existing Discovery value if present, or writing Discovery: disabled if no Indeed state exists; set Profile optimization: blocked; tell the user "Indeed is blocking automation right now. Try again later with /jobs indeed-setup." Stop.

Step 1 — Read source material

Read all resume files in resumes/ (exclude README.md and search_profile.md). Read resumes/search_profile.md if it exists.

Extract from the resume:

  • Name (top of document)
  • Current title + employer
  • Target roles (headline + experience entries + adjacent titles)
  • Top skills / keywords (skills section + repeated terms)
  • Education (degrees, schools, years)
  • Summary (if present)

From the search profile (if present):

  • Desired locations and workplace types
  • Salary floor
  • Job type preferences
  • Deal-breakers / exclusions

Step 2 — Ask what the user wants

I can do two things:

  1. Enable Indeed discovery only — future /jobs find runs will include Indeed searches.
  2. Enable discovery AND optimize your Indeed profile — I'll update your headline, summary, experience, skills, and preferences on Indeed from your resume. I'll show every change before saving.

Which do you prefer? (1 / 2)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
