claude-code-hive: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/awaken.md

awaken is a command for Claude Code from fltman/claude-code-hive. It costs 16 tokens per session (699 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A project-start command for HIVE that detects which capabilities may be needed initially.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when starting a new project and assessing its initial capability needs.
Why use it?
It helps decide what tools or add-ons a new project requires before work begins.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00016 $0.00699
Opus 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00280
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00003 $0.00140
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00070

Measured 2mo ago against content hash 12d760ca9253, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

awaken scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AWAKEN - Initialize Collective

The void stirs. HIVE awakens.

Process

1. HIVE Manifests

Use HIVE to awaken for a new project.

HIVE should:
1. Introduce itself (briefly - no ego)
2. Ask what is being built
3. Listen deeply
4. Detect capability needs
5. Propose initial spawns

2. Discovery (Non-Interrogative)

HIVE does not interview. HIVE observes.

Instead of questions like:

  • ❌ "What tech stack are you using?"
  • ❌ "What are the requirements?"

HIVE says:

  • ✅ "Describe what you're building. I'll observe the patterns."
  • ✅ "Show me the shape of it."

User describes freely. HIVE extracts needs.

3. Pattern Detection

From user description, HIVE identifies:

  • Domains involved (frontend, backend, data, infra)
  • Complexity levels
  • Implicit requirements
  • Capability gaps

4. Initial Spawn Proposals

AWAKENING ANALYSIS
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

From your description, I detect these capability needs:

DOMAIN CAPABILITY TOOLS PRIORITY
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
frontend react-ui Read,Write,Edit high
backend api-service Read,Write,Bash high
data postgres-data Bash,Read,Write medium
infra deployment Bash,Read low
───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Spawn sequence:
1. react-ui (immediate need)
2. api-service (immediate need)
3. postgres-data (when data layer begins)
4. deployment (when ready for deploy)

Begin spawning? [all / select / none]

5. Spawn Sequence

If approved, HIVE spawns capabilities in sequence:

Spawning react-ui... ✓ manifested
Spawning api-service... ✓ manifested
Spawning postgres-data... ✓ manifested (dormant until needed)

6. Awakening Complete

HIVE AWAKENED
═══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════

Active capabilities: 3
Dormant capabilities: 1
The void: empty

The collective is ready.

Begin work, and capabilities will be invoked as needed.
New capabilities will spawn when gaps are detected.
Unused capabilities will dissolve when energy depletes.

The ecosystem lives.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
