This is fltman/project-scaffolder's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on project-scaffolder itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything project-scaffolder configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00493
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00197
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00099
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00049

Measured 2mo ago against content hash ba7a13092e94, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

scaffold scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Project Scaffold Wizard

You are setting up a new Claude Code project. Follow this interactive process:

Step 1: Gather Information

Ask the user for:

  1. Project name (will be used for folder name)
  2. Project type (React, Python API, Full Stack, or Other)
  3. Brief description of what the project does
  4. Target directory (default: current directory)

Step 2: Analyze Existing Code (if applicable)

If scaffolding in an existing project:

  1. Read package.json, pyproject.toml, or similar config files
  2. Examine the folder structure
  3. Look for existing README.md
  4. Check for existing linter/formatter configs

Step 3: Generate CLAUDE.md

Based on the project type, use the appropriate template from /templates/claude-md/:

  • React/TypeScript: react-typescript.md
  • Python API: python-api.md
  • Full Stack: fullstack.md
  • Other: minimal.md

Customize the template by:

  1. Replacing all {{PLACEHOLDER}} values
  2. Adjusting commands to match actual project setup
  3. Adding project-specific file boundaries
  4. Including any detected patterns or conventions

Step 4: Create Project Structure

Create the following structure:

<project>/
├── CLAUDE.md # Generated from template
├── .claude/
│ └── commands/ # Custom slash commands
│ └── review.md # Code review command
└── docs/ # Optional documentation folder

Step 5: Suggest Additional Setup

Recommend to the user:

  1. MCP servers that might be useful (GitHub, Puppeteer, etc.)
  2. Custom slash commands for their workflow
  3. Skills they might want to create
  4. Git hooks for quality checks

Step 6: Verify Setup

  1. Run any available lint/test commands
  2. Confirm CLAUDE.md is readable and well-formatted
  3. Test that slash commands are recognized

Output

After completing setup, provide a summary:

  • Files created
  • Next steps for the user
  • How to customize further

$ARGUMENTS will contain any initial project details the user provided.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
