design-component

design-component is a command for coding agents from fusengine/agents. It costs 26 tokens per session (352 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command for creating one web UI component from an existing design system, such as a pricing card, carousel, or sortable table.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to generate a single HTML/CSS component with hover, focus, and disabled states.
Why use it?
It keeps an isolated component consistent with the project's shared colors, text styles, sizes, and interaction states.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00026 $0.00352
Opus 5 $0.00013 $0.00176
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00070
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00035

Measured yesterday against content hash 53d96edc14ca, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

design-component scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/design:component — Single Component (COMPONENT scope)

Generate one UI component using existing design tokens.

Complete documentation: skills/design-web/SKILL.md (or skills/design-webapp/SKILL.md for an app-specific pattern like a data table or command palette).

Usage

/design:component pricing card with 3 tiers
/design:component testimonial carousel
/design:component data table with sorting

Prerequisites

design-system.md must exist at project root. If missing, use /design instead.

Workflow

  1. Read design-system.md — this is the single source of truth for tokens.
  2. No inspiration browsing (COMPONENT scope skips it per design-method's routing table). Optionally search skills/design-web/references/21st-dev.md or shadcn.md for pattern inspiration.
  3. Generate the component directly as HTML/CSS from design-system.md tokens, following skills/design-web/references/component-variants-ref.md for size/state/color variants.
  4. Read skills/design-motion/SKILL.md — gate micro-interactions; mandatory hover/focus/disabled states regardless.
  5. Read skills/design-review/SKILL.md, component-scoped: contrast, forbidden fonts, OKLCH-only, all states present, light+dark screenshot of the component in isolation.

Forbidden

Creating a new design-system.md. Inspiration browsing (use the search tools above instead). Skipping light+dark validation.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
