What is migrate-from?

A migration command that reads rules, skills, commands, and subagents from one AI coding tool and creates shared documentation sections and configurations for other tools.

Use it to move AI configuration from Claude, Cursor, or Copilot to selected target tools, with optional dry runs and command conversion.

It removes the need to manually rewrite the same AI instructions for each tool and checks that the converted content can be rebuilt correctly.

Agent-aware migration (--from)

With --from, migrate scans AI tool configuration files (rules, skills, commands, subagents) from the specified tool and generates SSOT sections with per-tool templates for the target tools.

Creates section files under template/sections/ai/<type>/<slug>.md
Generates templates for each target tool with appropriate frontmatter
Updates docsgen.yaml with new build targets
Verifies round-trip by building and comparing against originals
