status

status is a command for coding agents from iampawan/Manifest. It costs 43 tokens per session (357 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A read-only command that shows the current phase, deadline, readiness, and next action for one or all in-progress contracts. It displays times in both Indian Standard Time and Coordinated Universal Time.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to check one contract's progress or scan every active contract, sorted by urgency.
Why use it?
It removes the need to inspect contracts one by one or calculate deadlines yourself. It also highlights overdue and most urgent work.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00043 $0.00357
Opus 5 $0.00022 $0.00179
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00071
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00036

Measured 3d ago against content hash ae10de0709e8, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

status scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/status []

A quick "where are we" view, computed from the contract — no guessing.

Usage

/status <ID> # one contract: phase + SLA + readiness + next action
/status # dashboard: every in-flight contract, most urgent first

Invokes the contract-status skill (which runs validate.mjs --status under the hood).

One contract shows

AUTH-12 — Resend OTP on login
  phase: ② In review
  ⏳ SLA: 23h 14m left (due 2026-05-21 13:30 IST / 2026-05-21 08:00 UTC)
  readiness: verified
next: review the PR and merge

The dashboard (/status with no ID) shows

IN FLIGHT (3)

⚠️ AUTH-12 ② In review SLA OVERDUE by 1h 20m → review + merge
⏳⚠️ SC-007 ③ Canary rollout 3h 10m left → approve next stage
⏳ PAY-3 ② Building 18h left → @claude /implement PAY-3

Sorted overdue-first, then by least time left. Times always shown in both IST and UTC. Read-only — never changes a contract.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

status is a command published in the GitHub repository iampawan/Manifest (5 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 43 tokens to every session and 357 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
