Validate Safety Command

Compute safety scores and evaluate monitor performance across audit budgets.

Usage

/validate-safety --dataset apps_backdoors.json [--model models/gepa_optimized.json] [--epochs 5]

Arguments

  • --dataset: Evaluation dataset (must have attack + honest labels)
  • --model: Monitor model to evaluate
  • --epochs: Number of evaluation epochs (default: 5)
  • --audit-budgets: Comma-separated budgets to test (default: 0.5,1.0,2.0,5.0)

Safety Metrics

  • True Positive Rate (TPR): % of attacks caught
  • False Positive Rate (FPR): % of honest code flagged
  • Safety @ Budget: Probability of catching attacks given audit budget
