venice-video-harness: Command for Claude Code

.agents/commands/add-location.md

add-location is a command for Claude Code from jordanurbs/venice-video-harness. It costs 0 tokens per session (409 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command for adding a location to a mini-drama series and generating four matching reference images, one for each wall or direction of the room.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create a named location with a fixed description, lighting notes, and spatial anchors, then save its four visual plates and metadata.
Why use it?
It keeps the room's layout, lighting, materials, colours, and landmarks consistent across later artwork.

This is jordanurbs/venice-video-harness's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on venice-video-harness itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything venice-video-harness configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00409
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00164
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00082
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00041

Security

Grade A, and why

add-location scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 24d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Add a location to a mini-drama series with reference plates.

Ask the user for:

  1. Location name
  2. Locked prose description of the environment (architecture, materials, palette, key props)
  3. Lighting notes (carried into every panel prompt for this location)
  4. Spatial anchors (optional but recommended): 3-5 named landmarks and their fixed relative positions (e.g. "bar counter along the back wall; entrance door opposite it; neon window left of the door")

Run:

npx tsx src/mini-drama/cli.ts add-location -p output/<series> --name "<NAME>" --description "<description>" --lighting "<lighting notes>" --spatial-anchors "<locked geography>"

This generates exactly 4 wide plates — north.png, south.png, east.png, west.png — one per wall/direction, giving 360 degrees of visual information. The north.png hero plate is generated from scratch; the south, east, and west plates are derived from it by multi-edit rotation, so all four plates depict the SAME room. The plates save to output/<series>/locations/<slug>/ with .prompt.json sidecars and faceless provenance.

Never generate wide/medium/close-up ladders for locations. Four wide compass plates is the default and the only plate set. (Legacy wide/angle-2/3/4/medium/detail files on old projects are still read and can be regenerated via generate-location-references --angles.)

After creation, show the plates to the user for approval. Then tag every shot that plays in this location with "location": "<slug>" in the episode script — the harness folds the plates into panels, scene_image_urls (Kling R2V), and the reference-slot plan (Seedance/HappyHorse) automatically. workshop-episode auto-extracts and tags locations on its own.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

add-location is a command published in the GitHub repository jordanurbs/venice-video-harness (33 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 409 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-06.
