.agents/commands/storyboard-all.md

storyboard-all is a command for Claude Code from jordanurbs/venice-video-harness. It costs 0 tokens per session (458 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that creates a complete storyboard for every scene in a screenplay. It turns the screenplay into visual panels and an interactive HTML viewer.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for full-screenplay storyboard generation, including shot planning, image creation, panel metadata, and video-prompt files.
Why use it?
It removes the need to generate each scene manually and can continue from scenes that are already finished.

This is jordanurbs/venice-video-harness's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on venice-video-harness itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything venice-video-harness configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00458
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00229
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00092
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00046

Measured 12d ago against content hash 611161d685eb, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

storyboard-all scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/storyboard-all

Generate the complete storyboard for all scenes in the screenplay.

Usage

/storyboard-all --project <project-dir> [--skip-completed]

Arguments

  • --project: Project output directory (required)
  • --skip-completed: Skip scenes already generated (optional)

What This Does

  1. Loads project state with all scenes, character locks, and aesthetic
  2. Iterates through all scenes (or remaining scenes if --skip-completed)
  3. For each scene:
    • Plans shots (establishing, coverage, dialogue, inserts)
    • Builds prompts with full character descriptions and face references
    • Generates images via Venice API
    • Saves panels with metadata
  4. Compiles complete storyboard with all scenes
  5. Renders full interactive HTML viewer

Prerequisites

  • Screenplay ingested (/ingest-screenplay)
  • Characters locked (/lock-characters)
  • Aesthetic set (/set-aesthetic)
  • Recommended: validate first scene with /storyboard-scene 1 before batch

Execution

npx tsx src/cli.ts generate-all --project "$project_dir" --skip-completed

Output

  • All scene images saved to <project>/scene-NNN/shot-NNN.png
  • Video prompt JSONs saved to <project>/scene-NNN/shot-NNN.video.json
  • Complete HTML storyboard: <project>/storyboard-full.html
  • Per-scene progress updates
  • Final summary with total panel count

Next Step: Video Generation

After panel images are generated, use /generate-videos --project <dir> --scene <N> to animate them into 8-second video clips via Venice Veo 3.1. Process one scene at a time.

Notes

  • This can make many API calls. A 30-scene screenplay with ~5 shots each = ~150 image generations.
  • Use --skip-completed to resume after interruption.
  • Each scene is saved incrementally so progress is preserved.

Example

/storyboard-all --project output/my-film
/storyboard-all --project output/my-film --skip-completed
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
