extract-infrastructure

extract-infrastructure is a command for Claude Code from JosiahSiegel/claude-plugin-marketplace. It costs 11 tokens per session (4,198 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that examines Azure infrastructure and creates a Docker Compose setup for local development. Azure is Microsoft's cloud platform, while Docker Compose describes several local containers and how they run together.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps inspect existing Azure resources and generate a local stack using emulators for Azure services.
Why use it?
It helps developers reproduce parts of a cloud environment on their own machines. This can make local testing possible without relying on the original Azure deployment.

Command for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: shipped in a Claude Code plugin.

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is - ./frontend/src:/app/src:cached.

Part of the azure-to-docker-master plugin — 3 skills, 2 commands, 1 agent shipped together

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00011 $0.04198
Opus 5 $0.00005 $0.02099
Sonnet 5 $0.00002 $0.00840
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00420

Security

Grade A, and why

extract-infrastructure scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

🚨 CRITICAL GUIDELINES

Windows File Path Requirements

MANDATORY: Always Use Backslashes on Windows for File Paths

When using Edit or Write tools on Windows, you MUST use backslashes (\) in file paths, NOT forward slashes (/).

Examples:

  • ❌ WRONG: D:/repos/project/file.tsx
  • ✅ CORRECT: D:\repos\project\file.tsx

This applies to:

  • Edit tool file_path parameter
  • Write tool file_path parameter
  • All file operations on Windows systems

Documentation Guidelines

NEVER create new documentation files unless explicitly requested by the user.

  • Priority: Update existing README.md files rather than creating new documentation
  • Repository cleanliness: Keep repository root clean - only README.md unless user requests otherwise
  • Style: Documentation should be concise, direct, and professional - avoid AI-generated tone
  • User preference: Only create additional .md files when user specifically asks for documentation

Extract Azure Infrastructure to Docker Compose

Purpose

Analyze existing Azure infrastructure and generate a complete Docker Compose stack with Azure service emulators for local development.

Prerequisites

Required tools:

  • Azure CLI (az) installed and configured
  • Docker Desktop 4.40+ with Compose v2.42+
  • Sufficient local resources (minimum 8GB RAM for full Azure stack)

Azure access:

  • Authenticated with az login
  • Appropriate RBAC permissions to read resources
  • Access to target resource group

Step 1: Authenticate with Azure

# Login to Azure
az login

# List available subscriptions
az account list --output table

# Set target subscription
az account set --subscription "subscription-name-or-id"

# Verify current subscription
az account show

Step 2: Extract Azure Resources

List Resources in Resource Group

# List all resources in resource group
az resource list \
  --resource-group <resource-group-name> \
  --output table

# Get detailed JSON output for analysis
az resource list \
  --resource-group <resource-group-name> \
  --output json > azure-resources.json

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

extract-infrastructure is a command published in the GitHub repository JosiahSiegel/claude-plugin-marketplace (54 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 11 tokens to every session and 4,198 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
