test-coverage

test-coverage is a command for coding agents from JSK9999/ai-nexus. It costs 0 tokens per session (150 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of test-coverage, Apache-2.0.

A command that measures which parts of the code are exercised by tests and creates tests for uncovered paths. It can generate unit tests for functions, integration tests for APIs, and end-to-end tests for complete user flows.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it after running tests with coverage to find missing tests, add coverage for under-tested files, and verify that the new tests pass.
Why use it?
It helps reveal untested success cases, errors, edge cases, and boundary conditions. It also checks progress toward at least 80% overall test coverage.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00000 $0.00150
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00075
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00030
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00015

Security

Grade A, and why

test-coverage scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Test Coverage

Analyze test coverage and generate missing tests:

  1. Run tests with coverage: npm test --coverage or pnpm test --coverage

  2. Analyze coverage report (coverage/coverage-summary.json)

  3. Identify files below 80% coverage threshold

  4. For each under-covered file:

    • Analyze untested code paths
    • Generate unit tests for functions
    • Generate integration tests for APIs
    • Generate E2E tests for critical flows
  5. Verify new tests pass

  6. Show before/after coverage metrics

  7. Ensure project reaches 80%+ overall coverage

Focus on:

  • Happy path scenarios
  • Error handling
  • Edge cases (null, undefined, empty)
  • Boundary conditions
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
