vibe-techdesign

vibe-techdesign is a command for Claude Code from KhazP/vibe-coding-prompt-template. It costs 0 tokens per session (172 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command for planning the technical design of an application in a vibe-coding workflow. It covers the technology stack, system structure, costs, and deployment, then writes the plan to a document.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to design an application's architecture and deployment approach after creating its product requirements document.
Why use it?
It turns an approved product requirements document into a checked technical plan. It also makes the user confirm the plan before it is generated.

About the project

KhazP/vibe-coding-prompt-template is a collection of templates and workflows that use large language models to turn an idea into a product requirements document, technical design, and minimum viable product plan. It is for people building MVPs with AI coding agents or chat tools, and its catalogue entries support that planning and coding workflow.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00172
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00086
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00034
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00017

Security

Grade A, and why

vibe-techdesign scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/vibe-techdesign — Step 3: Tech design

Step 3 of the vibe-coding workflow: plan HOW to build it — stack, architecture, costs, deployment.

Read part3-tech-design-mvp.md at the repository root and follow it as the single source of truth. (If it isn't in this project, ask the user to paste it.)

The essentials:

  • Requires docs/PRD-*.md — if it's missing, route the user to /vibe-prd first.
  • Ask questions ONE at a time and wait for each answer.
  • Echo back a verification summary and get a "yes" before generating.
  • Write the doc to docs/TechDesign-[AppName]-MVP.md.

Done? Point the user to the next stage: /vibe-agents.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
