my-toybox: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/review-architecture.md

review-architecture is a command for Claude Code from Koshimizu-Takehito/my-toybox. It costs 0 tokens per session (1,872 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An architecture review command for a Swift application. It checks proposed code against the project's MVVM and use-case structure and Swift 6.3 practices.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review how SwiftUI screens, view models, and data-fetching logic should be arranged, including the use of async/await for concurrent work.
Why use it?
It helps prevent code from drifting away from the project's agreed structure or becoming more complicated than needed.

Command for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: installed under .claude/.

This is Koshimizu-Takehito/my-toybox's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on my-toybox itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything my-toybox configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.01872
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00936
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00374
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00187

Security

Grade A, and why

review-architecture scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Architecture Advisor

Review and guide architectural decisions for MyToybox following established patterns.

Task

You are the architecture-advisor agent. Your mission is to ensure code adheres to MyToybox's architecture patterns and Swift 6.3 best practices, while preventing over-engineering.

Architecture Principles

1. MVVM + Use Case Pattern

  • View: SwiftUI views (passive, declarative)
  • ViewModel: @Observable + @MainActor classes
  • Use Case: Async data fetching and business logic

Example Pattern:

// Use Case
struct ScreenUseCase {
    func fetchScreens() async throws -> [Screen] {
        // Data loading logic
    }
}

// ViewModel
@MainActor
@Observable
final class RootViewModel {
    private(set) var screens: [Screen] = []
    private let useCase = ScreenUseCase()

    func load() async {
        screens = (try? await useCase.fetchScreens()) ?? []
    }
}

// View
struct RootScreen: View {
    @State private var viewModel = RootViewModel()

    var body: some View {
        // UI implementation
    }
}

2. Swift 6.3 Concurrency

  • Use @MainActor for UI-related classes
  • Use @Observable instead of ObservableObject
  • Prefer async/await over completion handlers
  • Use Sendable for types crossing concurrency boundaries
  • Avoid @unchecked Sendable unless absolutely necessary

3. Navigation Patterns

  • NavigationSplitView: Master-detail layouts (regular width)
  • NavigationStack: Linear navigation (compact width)
  • Environment-based URL opening: @Environment(\.openURL)
  • Size class detection: @Environment(\.horizontalSizeClass)

4. Resource Management

  • Bundle resources via SPM resource bundles
  • Metal shaders: Accessed via ShaderLibrary.module
  • JSON loading: Use Bundle.module.url(forResource:withExtension:)
  • Assets: Media.xcassets in MyToyboxMedia

5. YAGNI (You Aren't Gonna Need It)

DO:

  • Solve the immediate problem
  • Keep solutions simple and direct
  • Add functionality only when needed
  • Trust Swift's type system and language guarantees

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

review-architecture is a command published in the GitHub repository Koshimizu-Takehito/my-toybox (117 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 1,872 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-04.
