fix-fast

fix-fast is a command for coding agents from lantisprime/claude-sdlc. It costs 32 tokens per session (214 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A shortened software-development workflow for small bug fixes affecting no more than two files and fifty lines of code, without changes to APIs, schemas, security, or user interfaces.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it for eligible small bug fixes, including reproduction steps, a brief fix plan, and a test to add before the normal build, test, deployment, support, and documentation stages.
Why use it?
It reduces planning work for narrowly scoped fixes while requiring a return to the full workflow if the change becomes larger or riskier.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00032 $0.00214
Opus 5 $0.00016 $0.00107
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00043
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00021

Measured 3d ago against content hash 320242f1a44f, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

fix-fast scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Eligibility (all must be true):

  • Work item is classified as fix
  • Estimated scope ≤ 2 files AND ≤ 50 LOC
  • No schema / API / security-surface changes
  • No frontend/UX changes

Flow:

  1. Run plan skill in compact mode — single mini-plan with classification, in-scope files/functions, repro steps, fix approach, test to add.
  2. Skip analyze and design phases (record reason in the mini-plan).
  3. Write a single mini-gate at .claude/sdlc/gates/fix-fast-<task-slug>.md.
  4. Proceed to build, test, deploy, support, docs normally — those phases are not compressed.

If eligibility is violated at any point, fall back to the full 8-phase flow.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
