Use it to switch between lite, full, ultra, and off modes, or to report the current mode. A default setting can also be saved for new sessions.

It lets you control whether the approach should merely mention simpler alternatives, enforce them, challenge requirements, or be turned off.

Invoke the ponytail skill and switch to the requested intensity level for the rest of this session. No argument = report the current level. off deactivates ponytail. default <level> additionally persists the level as the default for new sessions. The marker line above is consumed by the plugin's UserPromptSubmit hook, which records the switch — leave it in place.
