optimize

optimize is a command for Claude Code from Marcel-Bich/marcel-bich-claude-marketplace. It costs 24 tokens per session (237 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that runs a read-only review of a repository's development process and saves a report. It checks how the repository supports parallel and long-running work, then asks whether to implement each suggested change, postpone it, or reject it.

In plain words
What is it for?
Reviewing conflict hotspots, changelog fragments, testing conventions, repository rules, and parallel-work readiness.
Why use it?
It exposes process problems while keeping the repository unchanged until the user explicitly approves a particular fix.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00024 $0.00237
Opus 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00095
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00047
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00024

Measured 7d ago against content hash 63ca4e341cae, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

optimize scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Credo - Optimisation Audit

Run the credo optimisation audit for the current repo: a freshness check, then a read-only scan (conflict hotspots, changelog fragments, test-stage convention, dogma settings, parallelism readiness, and - only if the user says Yes when asked before the scan - instruction consistency across the global and repo instruction files and hook texts), a report under .credo/process/reports/, and every finding offered as Implement / Later / Never.

Invoke the optimize skill via the Skill tool and follow it end to end. It holds the full procedure, the consent rules and the state helpers.

Running this command by hand is the user's consent for this one run; it does not change the per-repo opt-in for automatic offers. Never run it in autonomous mode.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

optimize is a command published in the GitHub repository Marcel-Bich/marcel-bich-claude-marketplace (12 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 24 tokens to every session and 237 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-08.
