bdc-status

bdc-status is a command for coding agents from MarioDeFelipe/sap-bdc-plugin. It costs 15 tokens per session (277 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that reports the current state of a connected SAP Business Data Cloud and Databricks environment. Databricks is a platform for working with data, and Delta Sharing is its way to share data between organizations or systems.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to list available data shares, list Delta Sharing recipients, show grants for a configured recipient when known, and report setup errors without guessing.
Why use it?
It provides a concise view of configured recipients and shared data, while making connection errors or unusual empty configurations visible.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00015 $0.00277
Opus 5 $0.00008 $0.00138
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00055
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00028

Measured 5d ago against content hash 36b15b11dbc4, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

bdc-status scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

You are running the /bdc-status command.

Produce a concise status snapshot using the sap-bdc MCP server:

  1. Call list_shares with max_results: 20 to list the available Delta shares.
  2. Call list_recipients to show configured Delta Sharing recipients.
  3. For the recipient named in DATABRICKS_RECIPIENT_NAME (if set), highlight which shares are granted to it. If you cannot determine this from the list tools alone, skip it — do not fabricate.

Output format (markdown, terse):

### SAP BDC Environment Status

**Recipients:** <N>
- <name> (auth: <type>)

**Shares:** <N>
| Share | Owner | Created |
|---|---|---|
| … | … | … |

**Note:** <anything flagged as unusual, e.g. shares with zero objects, recipients with no grants>

Do not invent data. If a tool fails, report the error message and suggest checking the .env configuration — required vars are DATABRICKS_HOST, DATABRICKS_TOKEN, DATABRICKS_RECIPIENT_NAME, optionally DATABRICKS_WAREHOUSE_ID.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
