py-armodel: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/quality.md

quality is a command for Claude Code from melodypapa/py-armodel. It costs 0 tokens per session (341 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A code-quality command that runs lint checks, installs the package, runs tests, and reports the results. Linting finds source-code problems that can often be detected without running the program.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to validate code before committing, or run only the linting or test portion when investigating a change.
Why use it?
It replaces several separate checks with one repeatable pre-commit routine and shows which check failed.

Command for Claude Code

Written for Claude Code: $ARGUMENTS substitution.

This is melodypapa/py-armodel's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on py-armodel itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything py-armodel configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00341
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00136
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00068
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00034

Measured 5d ago against content hash 6d6d1780caea, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

quality scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Quality Check

Run all quality checks (linting, type checking, testing) to ensure code meets project standards.

Quality Checks

When the user runs /quality, run the following checks in order:

1. Linting with Flake8

flake8 . --count --select=E9,F63,F7,F82 --show-source --statistics
  • Expected: All checks pass with no E9, F63, F7, F82 errors
  • If failures: Show linting errors and offer to fix

2. Install Package

pip install -e .
  • Expected: Package installs successfully

3. Testing with Pytest

pytest
  • Expected: All tests pass
  • If failures: Identify failing tests and help debug

4. Report Summary

Display a summary table:

Check Status Details
──────────────────────────────────
Flake8 ✅ Pass No E9,F63,F7,F82 errors
Pytest ✅ Pass All tests passed

Quality Gates

All of the following must pass before committing:

  1. ✅ Flake8 linting: No E9, F63, F7, F82 errors
  2. ✅ Pytest: All tests pass

Arguments

Use $ARGUMENTS for specific checks:

  • --lint-only: Run only linting
  • --test-only: Run only tests

Usage Examples

/quality
/quality --test-only

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

quality is a command published in the GitHub repository melodypapa/py-armodel (18 stars, last pushed 14d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 341 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-01.
