Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00038 $0.01294
Opus 5 $0.00019 $0.00647
Sonnet 5 $0.00008 $0.00259
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00129

Measured 12d ago against content hash 5870a7a4c1cc, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

ingest-to-wiki scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 105 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Identify the paper or article discussed in the current conversation, then follow the steps below to create a source summary page, update concept/entity pages, update index.md, and prepend a log.md entry. Process one source at a time.

[HARD GATE] Step 0: review gate (mandatory)

Before any ingest action, check the source note's review_status:

  1. Identify the source note (usually a root-level paper note)
  2. Read its frontmatter review_status field
  3. Act according to the state:
review_status Action
unreviewed or missing [HARD GATE] Stop immediately. Refuse to ingest. Report: "This note's review_status is unreviewed. It cannot be integrated into the wiki. Run /review-note <note-name> first. The review gate exists to prevent unverified content from propagating into the wiki and causing hard-to-trace errors."
reviewed Continue to the following steps
reviewed_with_notes Continue, but mandatory: quote the caveat from review_notes inside the wiki source page's ## Personal notes section
disputed Require explicit user confirmation: "This note has known disputes (review_notes: ...). After ingest, the dispute will be clearly flagged on the wiki source page's ## Personal notes. Continue?" Only proceed on confirmation, and always flag the dispute.

Never skip this gate — even if the user directly says "ingest this" without reviewing, refuse and redirect to /review-note.

Step 1: Create the source page

Create the page under wiki/sources/ in the schema format; frontmatter must include summary: and venue_short:.

If the source note's review_status is disputed, the ## Key findings section of the source page must begin with:

> [DISPUTED] data credibility: this paper was flagged during review for [issue summary]. When citing data from this page, cross-reference the critical analysis in `## Personal notes`.

Scan wiki/index.md (Dataview output) or grep for related existing concept, entity, and source pages.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
