corpus-kb: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/corpus-ingest-front-door.md

corpus-ingest-front-door is a command for Claude Code from moliver28/corpus-kb. It costs 19 tokens per session (264 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command-line entry point for adding files or folders to a searchable document collection. It can watch a folder, retry jobs that failed because text embeddings were unavailable, show run status, and create embeddings again.

In plain words
What is it for?
Loading transcripts or other files into a knowledge base, monitoring ingestion, checking results, and re-embedding selected or limited documents. Embeddings are numerical representations used for meaning-based search.
Why use it?
It removes the need to ingest documents one by one and helps recover from temporary embedding-service outages.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00019 $0.00264
Opus 5.5 $0.00008 $0.00106
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00004 $0.00053
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00026

Security

Grade A, and why

corpus-ingest-front-door scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 22d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

corpus-ingest-front-door — ingest files, watch, status, reembed

The top-level ingest front door: file/directory ingest with honest exit codes, a watched drop folder that auto-heals embedding outages, and the run-ledger surfaces.

  • Ingest one file or a whole directory:

    corpus-kb ingest <path> [--source-type transcript]

  • Watch a directory; runs that failed ONLY because embeddings were unavailable are re-attempted automatically once the provider is back (health probe + backoff + capped attempts):

    corpus-kb ingest <dir> --watch [--no-heal]

  • Exit codes (stable for scripting, printed in --help): 0 ok, 1 partial, 2 failed, 3 config.

  • Status and re-embed surfaces (all flags via --help):

    corpus-kb ingest-status
    corpus-kb ingest-reembed [--limit N] [--doc-id <uuid>]

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
