Conductor-Beads: Command for Claude Code

.claude/skills/beads/commands/sync.md

sync is a command for Claude Code from NguyenSiTrung/Conductor-Beads. It costs 18 tokens per session (237 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A deprecated command for synchronizing issues with a Dolt remote. It no longer performs synchronization; the replacement is `bd dolt push` and `bd dolt commit`.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use the replacement commands to commit pending issue changes and push them to a remote Dolt repository.
Why use it?
It prevents confusion when an older workflow no longer works. Dolt is the database and version-control system now used for this data.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00018 $0.00237
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00118
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00047
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00024

Measured 6d ago against content hash 761c08352e75, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-06, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

sync scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

⚠️ DEPRECATED (v0.56+): bd sync is now a no-op. Use bd dolt push and bd dolt commit instead.

The JSONL-based sync pipeline has been completely removed. Dolt-native push/pull via git remotes is the only sync mechanism.

Replacement Commands

Old Command New Command
bd sync bd dolt push
bd sync --flush-only bd dolt commit -m "message"
bd sync --no-push (automatic with Dolt server)

Current Dolt Workflow

# Commit pending changes
bd dolt commit -m "Session work"

# Push to remote
bd dolt push

Most users should rely on the Dolt server's automatic commits (one per write command). Use bd dolt push at session end to ensure data reaches the remote.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
