normalize

normalize is a command for coding agents from obiwancenobi/klamben. It costs 26 tokens per session (448 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A Flutter styling cleanup command that replaces hardcoded colors, text sizes, spacing, and other values with named theme tokens.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to convert colors and text styles to theme references, align spacing to a grid, create reusable spacing tokens, verify the app theme, and review the resulting changes.
Why use it?
It makes visual changes, dark mode, and rebranding easier by keeping shared design values in the app's theme instead of scattering them through screens.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00026 $0.00448
Opus 5 $0.00013 $0.00224
Sonnet 5 $0.00005 $0.00090
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00045

Measured 3d ago against content hash f901b41a6c68, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

normalize scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/normalize

Hoist hardcoded values into theme. Edits files.

When to use

  • After /audit flags visual/hardcoded-color, visual/inline-textstyle, or layout/magic-numbers
  • When preparing a screen for dark mode
  • Before a rebrand

Process

  1. Check design context: If .klamben.md exists in the project root, read it first. Apply the project's brand, platform targets, accessibility tier, and existing patterns to your work below.
  2. Find hardcoded colors (Colors.X, Color(0xFF...))
    • Replace with Theme.of(context).colorScheme.<semantic>
    • If no semantic exists in the current theme, add it to the theme extension
  3. Find inline TextStyle with literal fontSize
    • Replace with Theme.of(context).textTheme.<role> (+ .copyWith if overrides needed)
  4. Find magic-number EdgeInsets (17, 23, etc.)
    • Snap to nearest 4/8 grid value
    • Extract repeated values to Spacing theme extension tokens
  5. Verify theme is set at MaterialApp level; add if missing
  6. Show the diff

Output

normalize lib/screens/home.dart

- Container(color: Colors.purple)
+ Container(color: Theme.of(context).colorScheme.primary)

- TextStyle(fontSize: 18, fontWeight: FontWeight.w600)
+ Theme.of(context).textTheme.titleMedium

- EdgeInsets.all(17)
+ EdgeInsets.all(16)

3 replacements in 1 file.

Do NOT

  • Change visual behavior (swap primary for secondary arbitrarily)
  • Add new widgets or restructure layout
  • Invent semantic tokens without user confirmation
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
