ic-memo-skeptical

ic-memo-skeptical is a command for Claude Code from ololand-ai/ololand-plugins. It costs 60 tokens per session (2,874 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A workflow for drafting an investment-committee memo about a deal using public facts, web research, separate analysis steps, and one bounded Monte Carlo simulation. An investment-committee memo supports a decision about whether to invest.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to prepare a skeptical memo for a public or private deal, including valuation-related analysis and identified evidence gaps.
Why use it?
It keeps findings, missing information, sources, and simulation results explicitly separated so the memo can be reviewed critically.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00060 $0.02874
Opus 5 $0.00030 $0.01437
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00575
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00287

Security

Grade A, and why

ic-memo-skeptical scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Skeptical IC Memo

Compose an IC-defensible investment memo using OloLand's lower-level tile + web-fetch pattern. Designed to produce the output style that survives IC scrutiny — every $-figure cited, every engine output framed as [finding] or [gap], no boilerplate gating conditions, no overtrusted simulation outputs.

This is the preferred memo entry point as of 2026-05-12. run_due_diligence is a separate bounded extraction pipeline; it does not run valuation, war-game, forensic QoE, conflict detection, or memo generation. The deprecated generate_investment_memo entry point invokes the memo task without the public-facts freshness precondition. /ic-memo-skeptical makes each additional read or bounded engine call explicit and hard-codes the orchestration that produces tighter artifacts.

Usage

/ic-memo-skeptical <deal_id>

Arguments

  • deal_id (required) — The deal to memo. Works on both public-target (ticker / CIK) and private deals; the public-facts gate only fires when applicable.

Bounded Monte Carlo authority

The user's explicit invocation of, or unambiguous request to run, /ic-memo-skeptical <deal_id> authorizes exactly one run_monte_carlo_simulation(deal_id, n_simulations=10000, seed=42) call in Step 4 for that deal. It does not authorize any other valuation engine, war-game, different deal, retry, or later/background run. Automatic routing to this command or a generic request for memo commentary does not grant this authority. If the call fails or returns no simulation_id, record Monte Carlo as a [gap] and stop before drafting. If it succeeds, only the exact response carrying that new simulation_id may be used in the in-session draft. Never call compose_ic_memo from this command: that tool has no simulation-binding or MC-exclusion parameter and could reuse an older persisted simulation even after a successful new run. Never infer, substitute, or reuse a prior simulation identity.

Orchestration (every step is required; do not skip)

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
