launch-check

A command that reviews a web app against a 10-part checklist for launch readiness. It examines the code, checks areas such as payments, mobile use, onboarding, reliability, email, authentication, domain setup, and the database, then records prioritized findings.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it before launching a web app to find blockers, review evidence in the code, and create a dated gap report with P0, P1, and P2 priorities.
Why use it?
It helps you see what may prevent an MVP from being stable and usable in production, where real users access the live app.

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00006 $0.00230
Opus 5 $0.00003 $0.00115
Sonnet 5 $0.00001 $0.00046
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00023

Measured 2d ago against content hash 6389151bfc34, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

launch-check scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

MVP Launch Check

Analyze your codebase against the 10-point MVP launch checklist and identify gaps.

Usage

/launch-check

Process

Use the mvp-gap-analyst agent for systematic 4-phase analysis:

  1. DISCOVER - Search codebase for implementations
  2. UNDERSTAND - Read files, trace flows, assess completeness
  3. CONFIRM - Present findings to user for validation
  4. REPORT - Generate gap analysis with P0/P1/P2 priorities

Output

Analysis saved to .pm/gaps/[YYYY-MM-DD]-mvp-launch-analysis.md with:

  • Summary score (0-100)
  • Per-item assessment (10 areas)
  • Prioritized action items (P0 blockers, P1 should-fix, P2 nice-to-have)
  • Evidence with file paths

Philosophy

"Don't overbuild. Just make it stable, usable, and something people can trust."

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

launch-check is a command published in the GitHub repository ooiyeefei/ccc (483 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 6 tokens to every session and 230 once invoked, about $0.0000 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
