enum-ad

enum-ad is a command for Claude Code from pashki975/thm-claude-kit. It costs 18 tokens per session (372 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command guide for checking a Windows computer or Active Directory network for SMB shares, directory services, users, groups, and domain details. Active Directory is Microsoft’s system for managing users and computers on a Windows network.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it during authorized security testing to identify shared folders, domain names, domain controllers, and discovered usernames before choosing later testing steps.
Why use it?
It organizes several network checks in one place and records the results, reducing the chance of missing useful information or losing track of what was found.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00018 $0.00372
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00186
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00074
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00037

Measured 3d ago against content hash b1b40dc80761, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

enum-ad scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Enumerate the Windows host at: $ARGUMENTS (target IP)

Work through these, saving output to scans/ and updating notes.md as you go. Do unauthenticated checks first; only use creds once we have them.

1. SMB (unauthenticated)

  • nxc smb $ARGUMENTS — grab hostname, domain, OS, signing status
  • nxc smb $ARGUMENTS -u '' -p '' --shares — null-session share list
  • nxc smb $ARGUMENTS -u 'guest' -p '' --shares — guest fallback
  • enum4linux-ng -A $ARGUMENTS | tee scans/enum4linux-ng.txt

2. RPC / null session

  • rpcclient -U '' -N $ARGUMENTS then try enumdomusers, enumdomgroups, querydominfo

3. LDAP (if 389/636 open)

  • nxc ldap $ARGUMENTS -u '' -p '' — anonymous bind check
  • ldapsearch -x -H ldap://$ARGUMENTS -s base namingcontexts — find the base DN

4. Note the domain + DC

Record the DOMAIN name, FQDN, and DC hostname in notes.md — you'll need them for Kerberos attacks. Add the FQDN to /etc/hosts pointing at $ARGUMENTS.

5. Summarize

Table: share | access | notes. List any usernames discovered. Recommend next step (often: build a user list → AS-REP roast, or use found creds with the ad-attack flow).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
