Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00014 $0.00465
Opus 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00186
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00003 $0.00093
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00047

Security

Grade A, and why

unmute scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Unmute AgentVibes TTS

Unmute TTS for this project (default):

# Get the project root (where .claude/ directory is located)
PROJECT_ROOT="${CLAUDE_PROJECT_DIR:-$(pwd)}"
while [[ "$PROJECT_ROOT" != "/" ]] && [[ ! -d "$PROJECT_ROOT/.claude" ]]; do
  PROJECT_ROOT=$(dirname "$PROJECT_ROOT")
done

if [[ -d "$PROJECT_ROOT/.claude" ]]; then
  PROJECT_MUTE_FILE="$PROJECT_ROOT/.claude/agentvibes-muted"
  PROJECT_UNMUTE_FILE="$PROJECT_ROOT/.claude/agentvibes-unmuted"

  # Remove project mute file if it exists
  rm -f "$PROJECT_MUTE_FILE"

  # Create project unmute file (overrides global mute if present)
  touch "$PROJECT_UNMUTE_FILE"

  # Check if global mute is set
  if [[ -f "$HOME/.agentvibes-muted" ]]; then
    echo "🔊 **AgentVibes TTS unmuted for this project** (overriding global mute). Voice output restored."
  else
    echo "🔊 **AgentVibes TTS unmuted for this project.** Voice output is now restored."
  fi
else
  echo "⚠️ No .claude directory found."
  exit 1
fi

Advanced Options:

To unmute globally — this deliberately opts EVERY session into the TTS protocol (removes global mute AND drops a global opt-in marker the session-start hook checks). Use with care: with a global install this makes all open sessions speak.

rm -f "$HOME/.agentvibes-muted"
rm -f "$(pwd)/.claude/agentvibes-muted" 2>/dev/null || true
mkdir -p "$HOME/.claude"
touch "$HOME/.claude/agentvibes-unmuted" # global opt-in for the injection gate
echo "🔊 **AgentVibes TTS unmuted globally.** Every session will now announce. Run /agent-vibes:mute to stop."
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
