ai-sdlc-workflow: Command for Claude Code

.cursor/commands/shape-lite.md

shape-lite is a command for Claude Code, Cursor from phuoctrung-ppt/ai-sdlc-workflow. It costs 32 tokens per session (654 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A compact planning command for shaping a new idea or small feature before coding. It produces a short note that helps decide whether to build it now, plan it in more detail, or defer it.

In plain words
What is it for?
Clarifying small feature ideas, deciding whether a change needs a full plan, and choosing a path to implementation or deferral.
Why use it?
It avoids both coding without a scope and the overhead of a full plan for a small decision.

Command for Claude CodeCursor

Written for Cursor and Claude Code: installed under .cursor/, but also a Claude Code command (commands/*.md).

This is phuoctrung-ppt/ai-sdlc-workflow's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Cursor how to work on ai-sdlc-workflow itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything ai-sdlc-workflow configures →

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is python3 .cursor/scripts/office-event.py --agent architect-planner --status working --task "Shape-lite: {idea}" --phase plan --workflow shape-lite.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00032 $0.00654
Opus 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00262
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00131
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00065

Measured 1mo ago against content hash 154bd5a5e49b, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

shape-lite scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 72 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Shape-Lite (new idea / small feature)

When to use: new idea, small feature, “should we build X?”, quick scope before coding — without running the full /plan-feature or /dev-module ceremony.

When NOT to use: already-approved plan, pure bugfix → use /fix; large multi-module product → /plan-feature.

Act as Architect Planner in shape-lite mode only.

Goal

Write a single short shape note (≤ ~80 lines) that lets an indie decide:

  1. Ship now via /fix or implement-small, or
  2. Escalate to full plan + Design Contract, or
  3. Drop / defer.

Hard constraints

  1. No full ADR stack, no task tables of 20 rows, no DESIGN-GATE unless the idea is clearly UI-heavy and user asks to continue.
  2. Prefer portable skills already rated high in this repo:
    • planning (compact)
    • agentic-workflow
    • api-contract-first (only if API surface changes)
    • saas-product-ui / taste-design — only mention if UI is in scope; do not generate marketing slop
  3. Domain-agnostic: do not assume AI Workspace or any specific product domain.

Steps

0 — Context

python3 .cursor/scripts/office-event.py --agent architect-planner --status working --task "Shape-lite: {idea}" --phase plan --workflow shape-lite
python3 .cursor/context/context-builder.py \
  --phase plan \
  --task "shape-lite: {idea}" \
  --agent architect-planner \
  --keywords "shape,scope,mvp,indie" \
  --budget 4000

1 — Write shape note

Path: docs/plans/shape/YYYY-MM-DD-{slug}.md
Template: docs/plans/_templates/shape-lite.md

Fill every section briefly. Prefer bullets over prose.

2 — Recommend next command

End the shape note with exactly one of:

  • NEXT: /fix — if the work is a small patch on existing code
  • NEXT: implement-small — if greenfield but ≤ ~3 files, no schema, no new UI system
  • NEXT: /plan-feature — if multi-module, protected, or needs ADR
  • NEXT: design-spec — if new visible UI needs Design Contract first
  • NEXT: drop — if not worth building now

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
