reconcile-dev

reconcile-dev is a command for coding agents from punt-labs/punt-kit. It costs 12 tokens per session (282 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A development command for reconciling a project with Punt Labs standards using the local punt-kit source. Reconciliation means checking a project and bringing its configuration and workflows into line with defined standards.

In plain words
What is it for?
Auditing a project, loading standards, reconciling workflows, CLAUDE.md, and pyproject.toml, and reporting the results.
Why use it?
It lets punt-kit developers test unreleased reconciliation changes instead of using the installed version.

Command

Installs and runs on its own, but its text points at files inside its plugin — anything it tells you to read at a ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} path is only there once the plugin is installed. Installing the plugin gets both.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00012 $0.00282
Opus 5 $0.00006 $0.00141
Sonnet 5 $0.00002 $0.00056
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00028

Measured 4d ago against content hash ae44c7884680, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

reconcile-dev scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 4d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Reconcile Project with Punt Labs Standards (Dev)

This is the working tree version of /punt reconcile. It uses the local punt-kit source (via uv run) instead of the installed CLI. Use this when developing punt-kit to test reconciliation changes before publishing.

Input

Project path: $ARGUMENTS (defaults to . if empty)

Process

Follow the same process as /punt reconcile, but replace any punt CLI calls with:

uv run --directory ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/.. punt <subcommand> $ARGUMENTS

This ensures the working tree code is exercised, not the installed release. ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT} is the repo's plugin/ subdirectory, which carries no pyproject.toml; uv run needs the project root, hence the /...

Refer to the full reconciliation process in ${CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT}/commands/reconcile.md for the complete workflow (detect, audit, load standards, reconcile workflows/CLAUDE.md/pyproject.toml, report).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

reconcile-dev is a command published in the GitHub repository punt-labs/punt-kit (1 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 12 tokens to every session and 282 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
