cf-mcp: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/bump-version-major.md

bump-version-major is a command for Claude Code from pusewicz/cf-mcp. It costs 0 tokens per session (120 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that increases the major part of a project’s version number, such as changing 1.2.3 to 2.0.0. It also updates the project’s dependency lockfile and generated manifest.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when preparing a major release of a Ruby project that stores its version in lib/cf/mcp/version.rb.
Why use it?
It avoids manually editing several release files and reduces the chance that the version and generated files become inconsistent.

This is pusewicz/cf-mcp's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on cf-mcp itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything cf-mcp configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00120
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00060
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00024
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00012

Security

Grade A, and why

bump-version-major scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Bump the major version number in lib/cf/mcp/version.rb (e.g., 1.2.3 -> 2.0.0).

  1. Read the current version from lib/cf/mcp/version.rb
  2. Parse the version string (MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH)
  3. Increment MAJOR by 1, reset MINOR and PATCH to 0
  4. Update the VERSION constant in lib/cf/mcp/version.rb
  5. Run bundle install to update Gemfile.lock
  6. Run rake manifest to regenerate Manifest.txt
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
