auto

auto is a command for Claude Code from sairam0424/MindForge. It costs 9 tokens per session (249 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

An autonomous execution command that runs a specified project phase, including planned work, repairs, checkpoints, and compliance checks.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps run work unattended, resume from a saved checkpoint, preview the execution plan, and produce output suited to continuous integration and delivery.
Why use it?
It reduces the need for a person to confirm every routine step while still escalating changes involving authentication, payments, or personal data.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00009 $0.00249
Opus 5 $0.00005 $0.00125
Sonnet 5 $0.00002 $0.00050
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00025

Measured today against content hash 65bef12885be, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

auto scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/mindforge:auto [Phase N]

Purpose: Starts the MindForge Autonomous Execution Engine for the specified phase. The agent will execute all waves, handle repairs, and perform compliance gates without requiring human confirmation.

Usage

  • /mindforge:auto --phase 3 (Standard unattended mode)
  • /mindforge:auto --resume (Resumes from last checkpoint)
  • /mindforge:auto --headless (CI/CD optimized output)
  • /mindforge:auto --dry-run (Show the wave DAG and plan without executing)

Behavior

  • Zero-Interaction: Auto-approves Tier 1/2 changes if gates pass.
  • Self-Repair: Tries RETRY/DECOMPOSE before asking for help.
  • Checkpointing: Constant state persistence in HANDOFF.json.
  • Governance: ESCALATES on Tier 3 changes (Auth/Payment/PII).

Environment Variables

  • AUTO_MODE_TIMEOUT_MINUTES: Default 120.
  • AUTO_PUSH_ON_WAVE_COMPLETE: Default false.
  • SLACK_WEBHOOK_URL: Required for notifications.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
