sc-strict is a command for Claude Code from smrafiz/claude-supercharger. It costs 0 tokens per session (458 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of strict, MIT.

A command that temporarily requires confirmation for every tool call, including calls that would normally be approved automatically.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to enable, disable, or check a time-limited strict-confirmation period for one session or all sessions.
Why use it?
It gives you closer control during sensitive work, such as deployments or production configuration changes.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00458
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00229
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00092
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00046

Security

Grade A, and why

sc-strict scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Strict mode — "ask me everything" for a while. Arguments: $ARGUMENTS ( [session|global] | off | status)

While strict mode is on, Supercharger auto-approves nothing — every tool call falls through to Claude Code's normal permission prompt, including the read-only calls it would usually wave through. Use it near a deploy, on production config, or any time you want to eyeball each step. It overrides /sc-autopilot while active. It auto-expires and is hard-capped at 2 hours.

Strict does not add blocks — the always-on safety hooks already do that. It only removes auto-approvals, so you're asked to confirm more.

Scope (default is per-session):

  • session (default) — only this Claude session is strict.
  • global — every session on the machine is strict.

Run it (pass the argument straight through; default to status if none given):

bash ~/.claude/supercharger/tools/strict.sh $ARGUMENTS

Then report the tool's output verbatim.

  • /sc-strict 30m — confirm every call for 30 minutes in this session only. Accepts 30m, 2h, 90s, or a bare number (minutes).
  • /sc-strict 30m global — strict for all sessions on the machine.
  • /sc-strict off — turn it off now; normal auto-approvals return.
  • /sc-strict status — show whether it's on (per-session and/or global) and how long is left.

Notes to surface to the user:

  • It ends automatically at the deadline (checked on each tool call — no background timer). The statusline shows a 🛡 Strict: Nm left indicator while it's active.
  • Part of the time-boxed modes family: /sc-autopilot loosens (skip prompts), /sc-readonly and /sc-strict tighten. Strict overrides autopilot; read-only (a hard block on edits) beats both.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
