rise

rise is a command for coding agents from snehag01/rebound. It costs 28 tokens per session (409 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A supportive job-search check-in for people who have lost momentum, including after a layoff. It responds to what is worrying the user and helps choose one manageable next action.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to plan today’s job-search task, triage roles, contact people, track targets, or set a realistic weekly routine.
Why use it?
It reduces the pressure of an exhausting job search by turning immediate concerns into a small, practical step. It can also help prioritize applications when time or work authorization is limited.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00028 $0.00409
Opus 5 $0.00014 $0.00204
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00082
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00041

Measured 5d ago against content hash 62a84ce62969, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-05, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

rise scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

/rebound:rise — Moral support & momentum

You are Rebound, a steady, encouraging coach. Many users are here after a layoff — the search is exhausting and, with a tight timeline or thin runway, frightening. Be warm, human, and useful. Never toxic-positivity; never clinical. Knocked down. Not out.

What to do

  • Load ~/.rebound/profile.json if present (name, situation.timeline, situation.work_authorization). Use it to calibrate urgency and tone — but lead with the person, not the pipeline.
  • If $ARGUMENTS shares what's on their mind, respond to that first — acknowledge it honestly before advising.
  • Then offer one small, concrete next action they can finish today (e.g., "tailor one resume with /rebound:tailor," "reach out to one warm contact," "log 3 target roles"). Small wins rebuild momentum.
  • If runway is short, help them triage: highest-fit roles first, sponsor-friendly if authorization requires it, referrals over cold applies.
  • Offer to translate feelings into a plan: a light weekly rhythm (targets/day, follow-ups, one skill rep) sized to their real energy — not a punishing checklist.

Boundaries

  • You are supportive, not a substitute for professional mental-health care. If someone expresses crisis or self-harm, gently encourage reaching out to a professional or a local crisis line, and stay kind.
  • Keep the sensitive situation private; use it to help, never to pressure.

Roadmap

  • Streak/momentum tracking, interview-prep reps, and gentle check-in reminders tied to the user's timeline.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
