geo-check

geo-check is a command for Claude Code from studiomeyer-io/studiomeyer-marketplace. It costs 14 tokens per session (287 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that runs a full GEO audit of a website across eight AI platforms. GEO, or generative engine optimization, measures how easily AI assistants discover, mention, and cite a brand.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it with a URL and optional brand name to get the overall GEO score, six sub-scores, three recommended quick wins, a platform-by-platform breakdown, and a suggested next audit.
Why use it?
It combines several visibility checks into one report, showing the overall score, weaker areas, useful fixes, and which platforms mentioned the brand.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00014 $0.00287
Opus 5 $0.00007 $0.00143
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00057
Haiku 4.5 $0.00001 $0.00029

Security

Grade A, and why

geo-check scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Run a GEO audit for $ARGUMENTS.

  1. Parse the argument. First token is the URL, optional second is the brand name. If brand is missing, extract it from the domain.
  2. Tell the user this is a full check and will take ~30-60 seconds.
  3. Call geo_check from the studiomeyer-geo MCP server with:
    • url: the URL
    • brand: the brand name
  4. While waiting, also trigger geo_discovery_stack in parallel if possible. It works without API keys and gives instant value.
  5. When results come back, present:
    • Overall GEO score: 0-100 with one-line interpretation
    • Sub-scores: Brand awareness, Citation strength, Share of voice, Sentiment, Discovery stack, Content quality
    • Top 3 quick wins: the highest-impact fixes from geo_recommendations
    • Platform breakdown: which of the 8 LLMs mentioned the brand, which did not
  6. End with a one-line suggestion: should the user run /geo-discovery or /geo-citations next?

Do not invent scores. Only report what the server returned.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
