geo-robots

geo-robots is a command for Claude Code from studiomeyer-io/studiomeyer-marketplace. It costs 17 tokens per session (251 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that checks a website’s robots.txt and llms.txt files for AI crawler access. robots.txt gives web crawlers access rules, while llms.txt is a proposed file describing pages useful to language models.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review access for named AI bots, validate llms.txt links, identify crawler-rule warnings, and get exact fixes for critical problems.
Why use it?
It reveals when AI crawlers are unintentionally blocked and whether the site’s llms.txt file is present, valid, and linked correctly.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00017 $0.00251
Opus 5 $0.00009 $0.00125
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00050
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00025

Security

Grade A, and why

geo-robots scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Run a discovery stack audit on $ARGUMENTS without using any LLM API keys.

  1. Call geo_robots_audit with url: "$ARGUMENTS". This gives the full 14-bot allow/block matrix including ChatGPT, GPTBot, ClaudeBot, Google-Extended, PerplexityBot, etc.
  2. Call geo_llms_txt_validate with url: "$ARGUMENTS". This checks whether the site has a valid llms.txt, parses it per llmstxt.org spec, and link-checks the referenced URLs.
  3. Present results in three sections:
    • Critical issues: AI bots being blocked unintentionally
    • llms.txt status: present, valid, links-ok
    • Warnings: /_next/ disallow overriding Allow rules, missing crawler budgets, etc.
  4. If there are critical issues, list the exact fix for each.

This command costs nothing on the server side and runs in under 10 seconds. Use it as the default first step before any full GEO check.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

geo-robots is a command published in the GitHub repository studiomeyer-io/studiomeyer-marketplace (2 stars, last pushed 6d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 17 tokens to every session and 251 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
