aios: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/km-rotate.md

km-rotate is a command for Claude Code from sublimecoder/aios. It costs 32 tokens per session (221 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that moves dated activity details out of a knowledge map and into the relevant notes, leaving shorter summary lines on the map. A knowledge map is an index that points to related project information.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to maintain an oversized knowledge map by transferring activity history into its target notes.
Why use it?
It prevents the map from becoming too large while preserving facts in the notes where they belong. It checks that details found only on the map are saved before removing them.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00032 $0.00221
Opus 5.5 $0.00013 $0.00088
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00006 $0.00044
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00022

Security

Grade A, and why

km-rotate scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Read and follow AIOS/Skills/km-rotate.md.

Arguments: $ARGUMENTS — an optional layer (creator / professional / work) or specific map line numbers. With no arguments, work every line aios-check.sh reports, one layer segment at a time.

Measure with sh AIOS/Systems/km-measure.sh (bytes, not characters — that is the number the gate uses). aios-check.sh warns at 1350 bytes so rotation happens while it is cheap; the skill's own frontmatter still says "exceeds ~1500", which is the failure threshold rather than the pressure threshold — prefer the 1350 warning as the trigger.

Step 4 is the gate: a clause that exists ONLY on the map line gets written into the note before the map line shrinks. Never drop a fact.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
