A Git checkpoint command that saves the current project changes in a local commit. Git is a version-control system that records changes so earlier work can be restored or compared.

Use it to inspect the current status, save all changes with a temporary checkpoint message, confirm the commit, and later undo it with a soft reset if needed.

It creates a recoverable stopping point before continuing work, making it safer to experiment or pause without losing the current state.
