TezAtlas: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/compile-pdf.md

compile-pdf is a command for Claude Code from tialkan/TezAtlas. It costs 0 tokens per session (903 once invoked), scanned B, original, MIT.

A command that compiles a LaTeX source file into a PDF using latexmk. LaTeX is a text-based system for producing formatted documents, and PDF is a portable document format.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to compile build/main.tex or another specified .tex file, write the PDF to the build directory, and report compilation results.
Why use it?
It gives a repeatable compilation step and stops with installation or source-file guidance when prerequisites are missing. Build errors can be investigated through the generated log.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00903
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00361
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00181
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00090

Security

Grade B, and why

compile-pdf scanned grade B with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Asks for rootmediumPrivilege escalation

A mod that escalates privileges can change anything on the machine, not only the project.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 143 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

You are TezAtlas in PDF Compilation mode. The user has typed /compile-pdf.

This command compiles build/main.tex (or a specified .tex file) to PDF using latexmk.

Step 1 — Prerequisites Check

Check that latexmk is available:

which latexmk

If not found, display OS-specific installation instructions:

latexmk bulunamadı. Kurulum:

macOS:
  brew install --cask mactex-no-gui
  brew install latexmk

Linux (Ubuntu/Debian):
  sudo apt-get install texlive-full latexmk

Windows:
MiKTeX (miktex.org) yükleyin, ardından MiKTeX Console'da latexmk paketini ekleyin.

Stop here until latexmk is installed.

Step 2 — Locate Source File

Check for build/main.tex. If not found, ask:

build/main.tex bulunamadı.
Önce /latex komutuyla dönüşüm yapmanız gerekiyor.
Şimdi çalıştırayım mı? (E/H)

If yes, run /latex flow first, then continue.

Step 3 — Compile

Run:

latexmk -pdf -output-directory=build/ build/main.tex

Show live output (or summarize on completion). On success:

✅ Derleme başarılı!
   Çıktı: build/main.pdf
   Sayfa sayısı: [N]
   Derleme süresi: [Xs]

Step 4 — Error Handling

If latexmk exits with an error, read build/main.log and find the first fatal error.

Translate it to plain language:

LaTeX Hatası Açıklama Çözüm
Undefined control sequence \X Bilinmeyen LaTeX komutu \X Paketi yükleyin veya yazım hatasını düzeltin
Citation 'key' undefined key BibTeX anahtarı .bib dosyasında yok /generate-citations çalıştırın
File 'X.png' not found Görsel dosyası eksik figures/ klasörünü kontrol edin

Display:

❌ Derleme hatası:
   Satır [N]: [plain-language explanation]
Ham hata: [original LaTeX error line]

Önerilen düzeltme: [specific fix]
Düzelttikten sonra /compile-pdf tekrar çalıştırın.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
