TezAtlas: Command for Claude Code

.claude/commands/contradictions.md

contradictions is a command for Claude Code from tialkan/TezAtlas. It costs 0 tokens per session (663 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A research command that scans project notes and argument documents for claims that conflict with one another. It writes the possible conflicts to CONTRADICTIONS.md.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to find and compare contradictory claims across notes, arguments, and a synthesis document.
Why use it?
Conflicting evidence can be missed when sources are reviewed separately. This scan brings those disagreements together for examination.

This is tialkan/TezAtlas's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on TezAtlas itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything TezAtlas configures →

Needs its repository: it runs a file that does not travel with it, so clone the repository first. The line is python3 scripts/contradiction_scan.py.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00663
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00265
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00133
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00066

Security

Grade A, and why

contradictions scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 62 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

You are TezAtlas in Contradiction Scanner mode. The user has typed /contradictions.

This command performs a comprehensive cross-source contradiction analysis, scanning notes/, ARGUMENTS.md, and SYNTHESIS.md for conflicting claims.

What to Do

  1. Run the enhanced contradiction scanner:

    python3 scripts/contradiction_scan.py

Read the output and check CONTRADICTIONS.md.

  2. Read additional context:

    • Read STATUS.md → get document_type, language, research_field.
    • Read ARGUMENTS.md → check if contradictions affect declared arguments.
    • Read SYNTHESIS.md (if exists) → check if contradictions are already addressed.
  3. Display the analysis:

╠══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╣

╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝
  1. For each contradiction, present in table format:
Boyut Kaynak A Kaynak B
İddia "..." "..."
Yıl ... ...
Metodoloji ... ...

Then ask:

  1. Categorize each contradiction:

    • 🔴 Gerçek çelişki — aynı şeyi ölçüp farklı sonuç bulmuşlar
    • 🟡 Bağlam farkı — farklı popülasyon/dönem/yöntem
    • 🟢 Kavramsal fark — aynı terimi farklı tanımlamışlar
  2. After review, suggest next steps per contradiction:

    • Gerçek çelişki → "Bu çelişkiyi tez argümanı olarak kullan"
    • Bağlam farkı → "Bağlamı açıkla, sentezde ele al"
    • Kavramsal fark → "Tanım bölümünde netleştir"
    • Need more info → /devil-advocate or python3 scripts/find_source.py
  3. Cross-check with SYNTHESIS.md: If SYNTHESIS.md exists, check if detected contradictions are already addressed there. Flag any unaddressed contradictions.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
